Inaugural Retail Conflict Management Course for Good Samaritan Industries

Strike Training and Consulting were employed by Good Samaritan Industries in Western Australia to provide its brand new Retail Conflict Management Course to its 25 store managers.

The course has been designed for retail staff to provide them with adequate skills in dealing with aggressive customers. This 3 hour program teaches participants how to use tactical communication, understanding the law, personal safety, workplace management, environmental and situational awareness.

On 20th August 2015 Strike conducted this initial program at GSI’s Canning Vale training centre. The managers were actively involved in the program indicating the course was very beneficial to the issues they face in store giving them extra tools to deal with conflict.

Strike hopes the positive response received from GSI managers is a good indicator of the benefits this program could have in the retail industry.
