Gaven Wicks
Managing Director

Gaven Wicks is a former decorated New South Wales Police Sergeant of 25 years, conducting duties as a Criminal Investigator (Drugs and Homicide), Tactical and Riot Operations, as well as Counter Terrorism operations and operational risk assessments. Gaven further served as the Security Coordinator to the Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and spent many years working in the inner city suburbs of Sydney dealing with street level violence, drugs and gangs. It has taken this lifelong training, knowledge and experience to write the Security Operations programs offered by Strike in consultation with a select group of highly trained individuals.

Greg SMITH
Senior Trainer and Assessor

Greg is our newest member to join the Strike Training team.
Greg brings with him extensive experience in the security and crowd control industry, having worked over ten years in the industry on the east coast of Australia. Greg has lead and managed security operations in both Melbourne and the Gold Coast, from one up venues, multi leveled nightclubs, and music festivals, working his way up to Operations Manager of security firms. Greg also brings a wealth of knowledge in the close personal protection industry as well as ten years experience onsite in the mining and construction sector.
We are thrilled to welcome Greg to our Strike family.

Jaye Cole
Executive Manager

Strike has welcomed Jaye to the team as our Administration Manager and we have loved her immediately! Jaye brings a very strong background in all aspects of administration management with her to Strike with experience across a wide range of industries. Jaye has completed Certificate II in Security Operations, Diploma in Business and has extensive experience on packages including MYOB SAP ABAP and SyBiz. Recently Jaye has completed the Australian Hotels Association COVID19 Hygiene course, which can be applied to all industries and is particularly valuable now. Jaye has brought innovative ideas and an amazing zest and enthusiasm which is completely infectious. Please say Hi to Jaye next time you’re in!
